Korean stock market themes

A theme in Korean market coverage is a story the press groups companies around — HBM memory, nuclear power, defense exports — rather than an exchange sector. We assign a theme when a headline carries its keywords and count the listed companies named in those articles over the past seven days. Appearing on a list means a company was mentioned, not that it earns revenue from the theme; check the filings and the segment table before assuming otherwise. See Korean theme stocks explained.

Theme tagging is automatic and based on headline keywords. Being mentioned in a theme article does not mean a company benefits from the theme.
