ATS View organizes the flood of Korean stock market news and regulatory filings by company. It shows which KOSPI and KOSDAQ companies dominate the news, which stocks are seeing unusual coverage, what kind of catalyst each story is, and how themes such as HBM, defense and nuclear power are trending.
What we collect
- News: headline, outlet, time and link from articles published by Korean media. We never store article text; headlines link to the original publisher and are shown in Korean as published.
- Filings: filings from listed companies on DART, the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system.
- Company names: English names come from DART company records.
How we organize it
- Company linking: a headline is linked to a listed company when it contains the company's name or a common abbreviation, with rules to filter place names and ordinary words.
- Grouping duplicate stories: headlines about the same event within 12 hours are grouped, and "top stories" are ranked by how many outlets covered them. Article counts use the ungrouped total.
- Catalysts and themes: headlines are tagged by keywords into eight catalyst types and 17 themes. Tagging is automatic and can be wrong.
- News surges: 24-hour article counts are compared with the previous seven-day daily average, with a floor so thinly covered stocks do not show inflated multiples.
- Delay: headlines appear 5 minutes after collection; DART filings appear as soon as they are collected.
What we do not do
We do not recommend buying or selling any security, publish article text, or change rankings for advertisers. News volume does not indicate future price direction.
