How it works
Social insurance is charged on taxable pay (salary minus non-taxable allowances): national pension 4.75% up to a monthly cap, health insurance 3.595%, long-term care 13.14% of the health premium, employment insurance 0.9%. Income tax uses the annual year-end settlement formula with the basic personal deduction, divided by 12, plus 10% local income tax.
What to keep in mind
Employers withhold monthly using the simplified withholding table and settle the difference in February, so monthly amounts can differ slightly. Rates are for 2026 and change each year.
